A space of 170 square metres for creativity: Lesia UA Foundation opens art studio in Lutsk
The long-awaited opening of the “Piaternia” Art Studio took place in Lutsk. The studio is located in a new building at 10V Pryvokzalna Street. The grand opening of the studio was attended by the main patron of the Foundation, Serhii Hryhorovych.
The Lesia UA Foundation, together with its partners Tepli Doloni and Piaternia, opened an art studio in Lutsk.
They now have:
- a gallery
- a studio
- an art therapy workshop;
- a large library
- a kitchen area.
Tetiana Mialkovska said that they contacted the Foundation for help in renting the premises, as the previous one had long been too small for the studio’s activities. The woman admits that she did not even expect that they would not just rent a room for “Piaternia”, but would buy their own.
She thanked the Foundation and personally Serhii Hryhorovych and Lesia Rud, who support financially not only the defenders of Ukraine but also such necessary social projects on the home front.
The studio has different areas of work:
- educational direction – teaching art, including to children from the age of 4;
- charity workshops for internally displaced persons, children’s groups, and art therapy for the military;
- there is an opportunity to make graphics, sculpture, pottery;
- painting on professional canvases and easels, with professional paints;
- exhibitions.
The “Piaternia” Art Studio now has a gallery where children can exhibit their paintings. For any artist, it is very important to exhibit their paintings, show them to people, look at them in space and evaluate them for themselves.
