Provided Assistance to the Pryluky Regional Children’s Home “Nadiia”
“We learned a lot from the children and realized the importance of providing them with support and love. There are many needs in the home,” says Lesia Rud.
The foundation plans to continue helping and holding similar events to provide support and bring joy.
So far, the institution has accomplished the following:
- three rooms for mothers and children have been equipped with adult beds;
- individual wardrobes, and sofa benches have been installed in the living room;
- three sets of multi-level colored tables and chairs are set in the classroom;
- chairs of different heights were added to accommodate different age groups (42 in total);
- stationery and art kits were provided for 70-80 children for the next three years;
- an interactive whiteboard with the necessary equipment and software has been installed;
- the kitchen has been equipped with cabinet furniture;
- we donated and installed a correctional and developmental educational complex called ‘Timoko’ for children with special needs;
- additionally, we helped by providing a modern electric lift capable of lifting weights up to 50 kg for children with disabilities.
- we also ordered, manufactured, and installed six showcase-type window structures with slopes;
- we partially contributed to the ongoing repair of the premises and provided toys for children’s groups that develop attention and motor skills, improving child development;
- covered the need for children’s safe thermometers (100 pcs.);
- donated 4 electric breast pumps;
- selected and donated 20 pairs of children’s shoes;
- refreshed the children’s wardrobe with new clothes;
- partially provided the institution with vegetables for the winter period (potatoes, carrots, onions, beetroot);
- Additionally, during our visits, we regularly gave the children sweets and dried fruit.
- Finally, during the New Year holidays, the children received sets from St. Nicholas.
