Thanks to the collaboration of Foundation “Lesia UA” and art studio “Piaternia” over 1500 children and adults have been rehabilitated

From the first days of the full-scale war, the non-government oraganisation “Piaternia” started art therapy rehabilitation camps for ten days at the Zamlynnia Integration Centre with “Warm Palms” project.

Foundation for Aid to Defenders of Ukraine“Lesia UA” led by Lesia Rud and Serhii Hryhorovych, has become a reliable and systematic partner in this and other projects.

Benefactors and volunteers help children and adults affected by the war. In total, more than 1500 people have already undergone rehabilitation.

Internally displaced persons, children and their mothers, children of the Heavenly Legion, children with difficult life circumstances, children from shelters, evacuees from the war zone, and family-type homes took part in charity projects organised by a professional team of volunteers and the Foundation “Lesia UA”.

In particular, a ten-day project “Mother and Child in Warm Palms” was held on Svitiaz lake, the main sponsor of which was also Foundation for Aid to Defenders of Ukraine“Lesia UA”.

Every year, “Pieatrnia” organises a charity festival of art practices for children with special needs called “We Give Our Heart to Children” at a special school in the village of Zabolottia. This year, children were visited by volunteers, a team of artists, psychologists, art therapists and a representative of the Foundation “Lesia UA”, Taras Kutsyk.

Non-government oraganisation “Piaternia” and Foundation “Lesia UA” joined in order for rehabilitation of as many victims of the war as possible. The key people in the collaboration are Tatiana Mialkovska, Lesia Rud and Serhii Hryhorovych.

Foundation “Lesia UA”, in addition to the main support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, provide a humanitarian rear with educational and rehabilitation projects.
